Beyond Skyrim | Valenwood: Perhaps the biggest news this year was the announcement of a new project under the Beyond Skyrim banner: Valenwood. Home of the wood elves. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9n2FrUephWk Beyond Skyrim | Cyrodiil: For starters, let's check out some video updates. As you might have been able to tell from their already released content, Bruma, the writers in BS Skyrim don't try to dumb down the lore for the sake of marketability. So as such, cultures such as Colovian and Nibenean are not just cardboard identities you may only realize exist if you read the books. The river cults of the Nibin which were curiously absent from Oblivion will be on full display as you venture in the southern rainforests (Also neglected in Oblivion), showing off the spirituality of it's colorful inhabitants. As are various other nuances in their sociological differences from Colovians. They did show these off in day 2 of the Creation Mod Con, which I will be posting when we get to the Illiac Bay. As for city trailers, Cyrodiil has given us 2 this year. (Skingrad and Choral) But since I haven't posted any of the others so far, I'd like to draw attention to them as well. While some of you may have seen that stuff about the lore so far, and felt "Oh great, this is going to be the kind of mod that exposits heavily on lore dumps, isn't it? Actually, no. These city story trailers convey a much more thematic sense of writing, striking the dramatic themes of each city. Pay attention. Beyond Skyrim | Elsweyer: Since it shares the same worldspace as both Cyrodiil and Valenwood, I might as well start here next. Aside from the footage shown on Day 1 at Mod Creation Con, they have shown off a few new armors.
