One thing I do have a problem with is bringing up pedophilia like it has anything to do with this case

It does have something to do with the case. Had they snuffed out the records of those who tried assaulting Kyle, they could have played up the victim cards real hard and swayed public opinion which could have swayed the case. Hindsight is pretty awesome. Not so awesome for the people who rioted in Kenosha though.
