Alright, for those of you who are planning to do something spooky for halloween this year? Sorry, but the veil is now waning. It should be of no surprise. Halloween is a commercialized holiday, so of course a responsible occultist would move the date beyond the autumn solstice in order to protect the ignorant masses. But I hear serial killers love the holiday, so instead of salt, bring a knife. Self defence. Also, Ouija boards are just cardboard, and you are actually dowsing, so no, its not the spirit moving your hands, it really is just your subconscious reacting to them. That's why when you get something like an elemental on the other end, you get garbled up messages. They are difficult to interface with for human minds and seldom ever take much interest. Remember to cleanse the space when you are done. It's like washing a surface that someone with covid just sneezed in. Ah, holy water. What level of consecration are we talking about? The lesser banishing ritual! It's so easy, even a laymen can do it. In fact, anyone with any experience in energy work could probably accomplish this task without the ritual, but I digress. Normies need something, and it sure beats stabbing a baby goat in pajamas just to be edgy. You lock your car when driving down a troubled neighborhood, right? This is like doing the same thing in a spooky place. It keeps the space neutral so that anything you bring spewing from the great beyond, human or otherwise, has nothing to grab hold of, and no ambient energies are there to interfere. It's mostly used as a pre-ritual before for laying the groundwork before greater rituals, but more importantly, even if you mess it up, it won't conjure Cthuhlu. Here's what you need: 1: Remember that knife I told you to bring? If you have access to a dagger, or a sword, or a proper wand grounded in cinnamon, or some other consecrating component, bring that instead. If not, the knife will have to do. 2: An alter or some sort that houses the four elements. (So like a cloth with a glass of water, some rocks, a candle, and a fidget spinner sitting on top of it.) 3: Robes... Honestly, just wear plain nondescript clothes you feel comfy in. Robes are pretentious, and you'll get the cops called on you for sure. Did he? Eh, he's probably doing the golden dawn varient. They color code their flames for your convenience. Whatever color the higher being is to you? Use that and it should work just as fine.
