Bug Phobia

Is anybody here afraid or disgusted by bugs? -Because I am, I don't even want to kill them. Reply or something to show your option.

I love insects, I have a collection of taxidermied ones (mostly beetles, i really want a golden orb weaver or some kind of orb weaver but their really expensive if you want them in domes) insects are amazing because theyr so adapted perfectly for their little niche over so many years of evolution. theyr so unique and alien when compared to other animals

I don't think I ever purposely killed bugs in my life. I would probably cry if I had to. ...Though, I did kill a yellow jacket in my room the other week, but that was purely self-defense.

thats a lot of (what im assuming are) mantids ;;>W> what type are they? what are you going to do with them? is it legal to release them in your environment?

The Chinese mantis. They're the biggest mantis species and are "naturalized" in the US because the gov released a shitton back in 1890. They've been released into my garden to help keep flies down & maybe help with the carpenter bee problem I have. I kept 6 as pets too. Got my first molt recently. My babies are growing. <3
