You think oil companies are going to give discounts out of the goodness of their hearts? Please, don’t make me laugh. People must get out of their heads this erroneous notion that companies should be there to care about humanity. Companies give two shits about humanity. Likewise, I also give two shits about these companies. If I was an investor in one of these oil companies. The only thing I would care about is the oil company giving me wealth. In other words. Make that stock number go up baby! I am a capitalist after all. I am no socialist market communist. To bad that I have my money parked in other investments. Speaking of socialist oil discounts. You know which country has the lowest gasoline prices in the world? The socialist country of Venezuela. Like the true socialist communist that they are. The state-owned PDVSA Venezuelan oil company is not profiteering. Domestic Venezuelan gasoline is subsidized and does not locally turn a profit. Venezuela has the lowest gasoline prices in the world. If only these bad capitalist oil companies couldn’t be more like this caring socialist oil company. Why stop there? Might as well run the rest of the economy as a socialist market place.
