@cur_lypav i saw your russia thing in the opinions thread, im curious what justification you think russia has in invading ukraine? especially considering russia signed a treaty saying that they would respect ukraines rights as a sovereign nation.

@momoichi it isn't just recently that they've been at disagreements. For years actually. Including claims of genocide of Russian speakers. Keep in mind that this is before. While I'm not entirely sure of the truth behind it, I doubt a statement like that would be made if it weren't real. Or at least some of. Stereotypical people incoming saying sounds like something Russia would do. Don't get me wrong though Russia did launch the attack starting the war so by all means, Ukraine should defend themselves. I honestly support no wars at all more than anything. People had more important things to do than hide and wait

@cur_lypav "Including claims of genocide of Russian speakers." Are you claiming that Ukrainians are/have genocided Russians? Or prorussian voices? I'm not too sure what you mean, sorry. "It sounds like something Russia would do," is probz a sentiment because of the soviet union, because they did take over Ukraine. Not to mention, they annexed Crimea in, what, 2014? This is indeed a pattern with Russia, historically and currently. No one is in favor of war, but they are even least in favor of letting Russia break a treaty and unlawfully invade a sovereign country. I'm also very much against Russia getting stronger. Russia is clearly no friend to America, no more than China is, so that is reason enough to be against their expansion.
