Political rants

@momoichi actually republicans have been complaining about all the stuff in the first panel for months since biden took office. But the gas prices going up is actually worse if you think about it. Some people drive almost an hour to work every morning. Gas prices going up means ur spending more money to fill up your tank. Unlike food which for some all you need to do is pick up only essential items to cut costs. Gas you cant get around. You can always well buy an electric car yes, but where you gonna get the money for that when ur already struggling to make ends meet and your car was a cheap fix me uo you bought for a couple grand compared to a brand new electric car.

@hell_hound7 "since biden took office" is the opportune phrase
hell_hound7
@momoichi yeah since biden took office because Biden then decided to send out MORE stimmy checks and has been continuously pushing trillion dollar bills. It isnt just the stimmy checks he has been printing money like crazy. The job marketbit down, china slowly taking over and not only the world super power but the world economic power as well. Faith in the US dollar has dropped so much.

@hell_hound7 he sent out 1200 instead of the 2000 he promised. if you were planning to blame inflation on bidens 1200, i hope your blaming it more on trumps 2600. inflation isnt fully trumps or bidens fault, its the pandemics fault, but it will be on biden to fix it, and i do not like how hes trying to spin it into something benign. the job market has sky rocketed, hes created millions of jobs and the economy is on a steady incline since he took office. 30% (and growing) of businesses across the world have moved their manufacturing from china, and biden has not been soft on them. hes handling the ukraine war perfectly. hes offering his support through everything but joining the war, despite zelenskyy's pleas, and thats a good thing. hes putting america (and the safety of the entire world) first, but is still helping in safe ways. 70% of people are vacced thanks to him making the covid vaccine response a federal task instead of just leaving it to states to handle. the extra child tax credit that he gave parents was amazing, it helped so many families. hes not perfect, not great by any means, but hes towing the line in my opinion. can he be doing more? abso-fucking-lutely. why has weed not been federally decriminalized? im pretty sure that was one of his campaign promises, and how hard could it be? executive order that shit, who would be brave enough to overturn it? healthcare still needs reforming, and we should work to giving presidential voting rights to puerto ricans and give washington dc statehood, though the latter two are more complicated than i care to admit to understanding.

plus, about inflation, its a global issue right now. the pandemic has fractured the supply chain. bidens relief package was hefty, but it did revive the economy and create jobs. it was necessary. the federal reserves are increasing interest rates, so that should help. sucks for biden though, because no matter what tapering inflation will hurt the economy, and therefore his chances for reelection (not that he was ever going to get reelected. dudes too old)

No the job market is not on the incline because he created more jobs since he took office. Lets not forget all the jobs that were lost as a result of the keystone pipeline. Alot of these jobs werent "created" they are just people going back to work after the strict ass covid restrictions. Lets not forget how so many people lost their jobs because covid vaccine was mandatory. Are we gonna pretend like he created an entire swathe of jobs when thousands were put out of work because of that alone. Its just people going back to work its not that he created an entire job market. What new has he done to create this increase in work? He didnt bring back factory jobs, he didnt create anything new because he hardly is even delivering on his own green policy stuff. Where are these jobs coming from? What new innovation has he implemented to bring back jobs? Because we are losing a hell of a lot of jobs with him sending our energy stuff out of country and relying on outside sources for energy.

yes, the job market skyrocketed since trumps administration left office. wanna talk about why they stopped going to work? because of how trump mismanged the pandemic and let it wreck havoc in america since he saw no need for a federal response beyond ending flights to china (MONTHS AFTER HE KNEW WHAT WAS HAPPENING mind you) and didnt bother quarantining people coming back into the country. why are people confident enough to go back to work? because of the vaccine roll out. because the federal government stepped up under biden and sorted out how the vaccines would be distributed. its thanks to a federal response under the biden administration that america is at 70% vaccination rate, which is why people are able to go back to work without having to be worried about catching a deadly virus. so yes, its thanks to biden that the job market that trump crashed with his mismanagement is on the incline. btw, to say that large swaths of people lost their jobs to vaccine mandates is a lie. that never affected the average working person. it targeted people like hospital staff, the military, and police officers. also, i support the mandate wholeheartedly. fuck these moron anti-vaccers. the vaccine is safe, and booster shots are totally normal, theres a flu booster offered every fucking year, and we got booster shots as fucking children. this isnt new, this is normal for viruses that mutate, and they only mutate more because of non-vaccinated troglodytes. its also thanks in part to the aid package that democrats passed. that infrastructure bill (amazing thing he did, thank you for reminding me) created jobs for people who work in construction and construction adjacent positions. so that made jobs. a shit ton. so yes, biden is the reason why the jobs market skyrocketed. also, we rely on outside sources for energy for a reason. if your talking gas, its because its a dwindling resource, and prices would likely only increase if we relied solely on our own. biden is in talks with japan to switch to using venezuela for our gas resources, so he is actively looking to fix the russia gas issue. we. are. not. bringing. back. manufacturing. jobs. forget it. we outsource our manufacturing because it is cheaper. because countries like india and taiwan pay their workers slave wagers and pass the savings on to the consumer. why would these companies pay american workers american salaries (plus health and dental and 401ks) when they can outsource to countries that pay their workers a nickel on the hour? https://i.imgur.com/tGJfHs3.png
