yeah that chart isnt accurate. On another note. I know I've said this before. But the president has no legal power to control inflation. Basically zero power actually. Neither Trump nor Biden could control inflation. The president does not have a "print money buttong". It doesn't matter if it's a Republican or Democratic president. The president can't unilaterally print money. The institution that somewhat controls inflation is the Federal Reserve. I say somewhat because not even the Fed has full control over inflation. Among other powers. The Fed does control the M2 money supply and the federal funds rate. Which have a direct correlation to inflation. Stating that any president is responsible for inflation is economic illiteracy.
