i think gender does exist, and male and female is the best way to encapsulate it, i just denounce any stringent guidelines that would constitute what makes a woman a woman or a man a man.

so you believe gender is entirely social conditioning i assume? im curious how you feel sex and gender correlate (noy starting a discussion, more just picking your brain)

I always thought the word "gender" was just a more casual way of referring to the word "sex" so...would both ends mind telling me wha happun before I have my take on it? (Edit: I did check the definition on dictionary before I asked this, but answer with the assumption I am completely blank when it comes to this debate)

The issue is that gender is now perceived as societal so everything underneath that term is subjective since it depends on the person. Sex is more scientific in the fact that they take biological markers within the person to note that they are male/female. At this point, it's been deduced that males have an extra appendage and women have none (more concave than anything) at birth. The sex does actually make a difference when attempting to help someone in the field of medicine as males require different care than females when it comes to their makeup.
