Political rants

Regardless, it was still caused by the actions of the CCP. The Great Leap Forward was the result of utterly stupid leadership, while the Cultural Revolution was a deliberate action to erode Han Chinese identity. Even with warlord instability and corruption, at least the KMT wouldn't enact the same stupid actions of the CCP, and they also would not have tried to destroy Han Chinese culture. The CCP embodies the bad qualities of the KMT and made it worse with their own form of incompetence during it's early ruling years. The only reason the CCP even has power today is due to foreign actions that helped prop them up. To say "a lot of people would have died anyways because it's China going through a change" detracts from those who perpetrated the actions that caused it. Mass casualties due to warfare are not the same as mass casualties due to incompetence and stupidity, even if they can be related. o7

I see, then. Thanks. I will see more of it to make a better statement in the future should I need it.

still cant believe people are more upset that biden tripped up some stairs (I'm 25 and still do that) but not that hes firing 5 people because of PAST POT USE pot being LEGAL in dc right now its like firing someone for having beer at home, that in and of itself should be illegal

@momoichi You can't count on the right to criticize policy. Remember the 2016 primaries? Progressives vs Hillary: https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/001/029/102/6a0.jpg Republicans vs Hillary: https://gray-wilx-prod.cdn.arcpublishing.com/resizer/__qEhxLadZ0NkzNImwUh-KcYM6I=/1200x675/smart/cloudfront-us-east-1.images.arcpublishing.com/gray/BSTKCP47ZVPCBJEENIKJLQCBXQ.jpg See the difference?

That's a tricky issue. On one hand, I suppose you could call it a part of "the freedom of association". On the other hand, things that do not affect the competence of the employee shouldn't really play a factor in their hiring or firing. o7

@chocopyro to be fair the majority of political figures voted for the Iraq war, it was the popular thing amount the people (who had been lied to) and therefore the politicians who want to be reelected found it advantageous to agree plus it was a war for oil reserves, nothing more. not really a defense so much, still shady, shortsighted/self-destructive, and selfish of course i actually liked hillary more than i did biden, but it might have been just because everyone always dog piled on her not for her policy alignments, but the fact that she was a strong woman (whether that be using that strength for nefarious deeds, maybe) so i guess I'm still a bit emotionally bias toward her for that ' make fun of her for being a ghoulish, terrible person. not for wearing pantsuits and being a ball buster.

Well yeah, back then they had the political landscape a lot more conditioned. Even I thought it was a good idea at the time, but I was in middle school. Wasn't until about high school when I got green pilled into all that conspiracy theory stuff. So they made makeshift patriots out of everyone. (And you all wonder why I talk about manipulation tactical awareness so much.) Sage Francis even made track about that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERpzLYXBxbk Man, I miss those days, even though the Bush era sucked, at least it was way easier to see who stood where. Facts actually had weight, and we didn't have as much cognitive dissidence to worry about on both sides. I don't give a shit that she was a woman. Hell I want a female president some day. The sooner the better. She just should be the best option. Can't be at the beck and call of the establishment. Policy is always first. I'll admit, even I get into the ghoulishness of her, but that's because she was kind of the antithesis of everything I felt the next president needed to be. We just had 8 years of Obama, who was a fine president if you ignore the drone war, the spying on American citizens (The left called that one first), and bailing out the banks at the expense of the American people stuff. (I will never forgive! *___*) And then Hillary just came across as that, but even more hawkish and boomer-ish. Completely out of touch with millennials and unaware how her policies kind of screwed them over the years.

when i was younger i never saw her as that, probz because my mom loved her and she leans neolib with certain issues (less so today thankfully) yeah idk what happened past 2015 it feels like where all of a sudden science is debatable. like sure, things were always twisted, but now people believe outright lies maybe its because boomers were using the internet more and like a virus they spread that shit everywhere. idk. i fucking pray this isn't a trend and this shit dies out
