Political rants

True, I am heavily biased against American social movements. They influence their seeds of chaos on other undeveloped countries such as mine.

A lot of the rich do use racism to distract common people from focusing on their corruption. That's 100% true. That's why they fear the increasing power of the individual cause we're taking notice.

conversely, though corporations are commodifying woke culture, like with the aunt jamima thing and the Mr potato head thing and the dr seus thing its a smart move tbh, because it lets you tap into a previously ignored market free market of capitalism baby
nebelstern
The problems of capitalism. That's why I am not a full supporter of it.

@momoichi You know the jokes in Family Guy where the parents demand you study with bamboo stick in hand? Those aren't jokes, that is our childhood. Asian culture is very work oriented, with education comes work. You work and feed the family which is traditionally how the Asian family structure works. The US is seen as being the single best place to do that. As far as immigrants, there aren't so many Chinese anymore. Well not since the takeover of PRC of Hong Kong which led to a large influx which I suspect is going to continue. Most of the Chinese in the US come from the descendants of the railroad workers of the 1800s. What you see now is mostly immigrants from South East Asia and India nowadays. @kuharido We survived. That's good enough for me as far as I'm concerned. Same thing as the Central and South American mothers with the shoes.

psssh, survived. I know how much minorities love to glorify the generational abuse that has gone unchecked. I hope for your children's sake you tell them never to do such a thing. Hey, we got the same thing here in America with hazing. It's a terrible thing. Just imagine the emotional scaring that has gone on for thousands of years because of closely held ideas that abuse is a good thing.

@dyadka_yar i know, and i dont see that as a form of privilege. thats abuse and a toxic aspect of asian culture.
nebelstern

Is corporal punishment really abuse, or is it a valid form of discipline? https://youtu.be/ArywVwZXMpo?t=93
