@hell_hound7 but this would help curb the immigration problem
again, these refugees are largely fleeing from the cartel oppression

Drugs are a means to an end as far as the war on drugs is concerned. There's the part where we actually are cracking down on the hard drugs, and I agree with that. Then there's the part where they use drugs divisively. And that's unfortunately where a lot of the funding gets sent into. That feeds into the private prison industry if you want more homework.

Well that is one of the reasons why I don't trust politifact for their "fact checking" because it's "false" because they are coming unaccompanied and there are no families to be separated from. That doesn't change standard operating procedure which is still separate the "families". If he did change that operating procedure then I say that is actually something that we should be up in arms about. We put lives at risk if we keep them together.
As far as drugs in minority communities. This is an issue in black communities and overall it might have to do with the situation in areas such as Detroit and Chicago. The question isn't about punishing people for doing drugs, the question is why are people doing drugs in the first place.
With poverty there is drug use and that is a network of problems ranging from education to high business tax rates that make it nearly impossible for a small business to survive. On top of that large employers such as Ford saw factories reduce domestic production and move plants to other countries. I think the situation is that they have their backs to the wall and life keeps pushing them against that wall with no escape. Drugs are that escape.
