Which is the meaning of a loaded question. Trapping a person into answering in a way which suits your personal views.
momoichi
how did i do that? can you elaborate?
gabriel_true
You are leading them to answer in a manner that is already defined as being a poor choice no matter yes or no. In other words he will have to challenge the context of your questions premise before he can give a straightforward answer to the last point in your line of questioning.

definition of a loaded question "A loaded question is a trick question, which presupposes at least one unverified assumption that the person being questioned is likely to disagree with. For example, the question “have you stopped mistreating your pet?” is a loaded question, because it presupposes that you have been mistreating your pet." @gabriel_true where did i do anything like that? can you copy and paste the example?

I support poll watchers in of themselves. Not when it is partisan one way or another. Both sides are trying to pull this and I want there to be impartial witnesses. I told you they were not and gave justification behind it more than a few times. There is no dancing and anything aside from a more in depth answer to things since yes it could be a loaded question. If I had said it's not racist and left it at that then you could have gone on a long tirade of how it is based on a slanted news source. So if I didn't beat you to the punch of justification then you could have easily taken the initiative and had me on an unstable footing in the debate. Not a loaded question in of itself, but it is the setup to one.

@dyadka_yar where did biden call for 'poll watchers' can you link me this? how can you say you have proven this when you just haven't? your justification was 'this happens in other states' and 'they should be able to do this' voter fraud is not a real issue, please prove that during this time frame voter fraud was a large enough issue in the black community that they needed to add restrictions please do not assume my response. i expect a good faith discussion with you, and i would like if you extended that courtesy to me. it was not a loaded question, nor was it building to one, you have no way of knowing that you were assuming, and your assumption was wrong.

Obama Biden campaign of 2012 stuffed the poll watchers positions with 18,000 lawyers. This will be the first year since 1986 Republicans will be able to have poll watchers. I prefer neither side having poll watchers with it being a nonpartisan position. Source here, use the search function and type in "lawyers" since finding it otherwise would take too long. https://time.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/legacy-report.pdf As far as voter fraud, California has 101% of it's adult population registered to vote and LA county alone has 112%. While this is not indicative of voter fraud in of itself, it is a concerning statistic. Especially since this is a massive hole that election fraud can take place. Things such as this are used for ballot stuffing as seen here in Philadelphia. https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/former-congressman-charged-ballot-stuffing-bribery-and-obstruction His mistake is that there was a paper trail of financial records, sloppy work. Usually it is done when a middle man or men provide a phony product, service, or hidden as a campaign donation expense for the money and then have their own network of people to stuff the ballots. Now these are extremely hard to find and prosecute since these cases. Sadly a lot of people know it exists at the polls themselves, but without the proper evidence it can't be pursued. Usually it was the state union workers. As far as North Carolina it was a preventative measure to make sure that ballot stuffing could not happen since it has been more and more common as of late. Now I have to ask you a question, how do you know this is racist? There is no evidence that Blacks have been shut out from voting aside from worthless conjecture and assumptions that it would have done so. What are the numbers of Blacks that would have been affected by the Voter ID law? What did the Black community have to say about this? Where is the actual evidence? Now as far as assuming the response, sadly in these sort of debates you have to think this way in order to avoid an entrapment. So that is my thought process, it isn't something done special for you. Always have to prepare for the worst. Outside of the debate stage this mentality doesn't exist, but within it this is the attitude. One of the tricks I picked up from one of the local politicians.

For voter id laws to be racist, people of a certain race would have to be denied access to valid photo ids. Are you saying that North Carolina doesn’t allow people of color to get drivers licenses? Are the people at the DMV in North Carolina racist and only let white people in the building? Are you saying they are denied nondrivers licenses? What documented bases are they claiming african americans can’t get a valid id? Because that would be extremely racist. It doesn’t make it a racist law just because someone may not have valid id YET, if they are openly allowed to go get one. You have to register to vote. Are they not allowed to register? If they can register to vote, what reason is there that they can’t get a valid photo id. Claiming that African Americans can’t do that is incredibly deeming and racist. I’m not from North Carolina, so you tell me. Is North Carolina that racist?
