Trump is the "only one with the balls to tell us most the people we have elected to office do not have our best interests at heart." I completely disagree with that. Over the years. There have been many politicians that have told about us about the corruption in government. Trump was not the first one or the only one. Governor Jesse Ventura calls the Democrats and Republicans, the Democrips and Rebloodblicans. The two political parties are like gangs in the street fighting for control. Bernie Sanders has often talked about the special interest in Washington. Ron Paul has talked about the military–industrial complex. If you go back far enough. President Eisenhower was the first one to talk about the military–industrial complex way back in the 60's. Trump is not some political savant that was the first to point out the corruption. Nor was he the only one with the balls to actually point it out. As many politicians before Trump pointed out the corruption.
From a personal perspective. Many people learn that the government is corrupt from a very early age. Even before Trump came to the political stage. If someone talked to a normal every day citizen and you asked if they thought that the government was corrupt? Most everyday citizens would have probably said yes. I definitely knew that the government was corrupt by the time I entered High School. Trump did not open to eyes to anything. People already know that the government was corrupt. I would also include Trump as a corrupt swamp monster. If someone doesn't think that Trump is also a corrupt swamp monster. Then they are either trolling, misinformed, delusional, a political hack or all of the above.
As to why people don't do anything about the corruption? I can't say with a certainty as to why that is. But I am of the opinion is that most people simply do not care. People might say, "yeah there's corruption, but the country is good enough." It is nice to have a utopian view on how society should be. But no political system is perfect.

I don't understand why they can term JD's role from Fantastic Beasts series but refuse to end AH's role, especially when the petition to remove her from Aquaman is almost to 2M signatures.

Now that I have a break I can give a longer response. I guess I should have clarified that I was speaking in regards to someone who has been in position of president. No other president has talked about and to Congress the way he does. He virtually shames them into doing better jobs. Do I think he's a saint? I keep telling you guys "no". I can have strong opinions without worshiping someone or some thing. He gives them and the media hell, and someone needs to. The propaganda machine has been shook. He did that. People hate the news and network journos now that they have been caught in so many lies. This goes for all the main ones including Fox. More and more people are turning to indie reporters for news until some sort of faith and integrity is restored in their (CNN, New York Times,, Washington Post, etc.) reporting. Right now all they care to do is genorate clickbait.
I can name a handful of people in Congress that actually do their jobs well. I can think of 5 off the top of my head. I have spoke about them before but I assume you don't follow my every political post.
I also follow things going on with Ventura. He was asked to run on the Green Party ticket for presidency but due to health didn't take them up on the offer.
"From a personal perspective. Many people learn that the government is corrupt from a very early age." I disagree. You give people way more credit than I would have expected.
Everything else, I don't disagree with.
