Stock market addiction

man, you guys have bought the good ones. I should have just been investing into bitcoin, Nvidia, and tesla instead of diversifying my portfolio like a dope. I'm up 120% on Ford and 150% on Cinemark but that doesn't really hold a candle to the others.

I happened to have Big 5 Sporting goods 3 months ago (BGFV) because I liked the company and dividends. Suddenly It had a 100% increase in the last month from a short squeeze. Of course, I spread my cash around so it's not like a huge game changer for me, but man, sometimes the stock market feels like this: https://www.gameindustry.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/Roulette-NEWS-672x372.jpg Most people who make better gains than me like Rei know to bet it all on 37 and strike big, but I spread it around. My losses are never huge but neither are my gains. Trading in the last year has been a completely different environment than how trading worked before 2020.

Especially since all my stocks are long positions atm lol.. On a side note, with DiDi potentially rug pulling, this only reinforces my stance against investing in Chinese stocks.

I think imma frequent this thread more often, considering how much my dad is into all this and how I'm planning to eventually get into the stock market o.o
