ACNH Island Names

It's finally March 20th and that means I get to spend the day sitting and waiting for my postman to deliver my copy of Animal Crossing New Horizons. But something occurred to me, I don't have a name for my island yet! *panic* Whoever else is getting the name, what are you going to name your island? I need inspiration

I named mine Akiyama after the town I set my old VN project in, and am playing as Hoshiko, my magical hobo treasure hunter. Felt she was a perfect fit for an animal crossing game. Named mine Garcinia, because I wanted an island named after a Mangosteen but that's a stupid name, so I went with the scientific name for it, "Garcinia mangostana"

In the end I got my partner to name my island while I was cooking lunch and she went with Boopledoop which apparently neighbours her island of Doopleboop

Debated naming it Fodlan because I loved three houses but I opted instead for Fortuna, the name of the talent agency in Tokyo Mirage Sessions!
