I added Rant as a reading suggestion in the Corona thread but it might have been too late for you to see it. Another I thought that would be fitting for current situation is The Call of Cthulhu (the book, not the game) by Lovecraft then a follow up from that would be The King in Yellow by Robert Chambers, series of short stories that are considerably sci-fi/fantasy. Crazy perspective though since it was written before 1900.
