If I am President, I will forever ban "XD" from being used in any combination, whether it's cringe emoticons or referring to the Disney channel kid network.
Happy Valentine's Day once again! I hope my message last night made some of you feel better and I hope you are all able to send this day with loved ones!
For some reason i cant comment on your post >_<
Such great words <3
You really hit the spot
You are not unloved.
Your problems are not irrelevant.
It never matters if someone else has it worse, it never matters if your problems are seen as petty or not a big deal. If something is bothering you, it matters. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. It doesn't matter if you're upset that someone said mean things, it doesn't matter if you're upset that you just didn't get that extra half hour of sleep you wanted. I understand if you want to be closer to someone and you feel frustrated that you just don't know how to break the ice. I know that feeling of being frustrated for no good reason simply because you see other people doing what you wish you had the courage to do and then feeling discouraged from continuing to do it.
On today, a day dedicated to love, I want to express myself despite being new and despite being otherwise quiet here. I want to say that how you feel and who you are is valid, no matter what. Regardless of political identity, regardless of people hurt, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, personality type, depression, anxiety, and anything else. You are first and foremost a human being capable of great kindness and great compassion and that is to be celebrated. You are always capable of greatness regardless of whether or not you think you have any special talent or skill at communication. Your existence is cause to be celebrated and cause to be loved.
So if you feel yourself unable to make friends, or unable to put yourself out there, and because of that you feel sad about days like today that are there to love people in your life, love yourself. Love the fact that we exist. That billions or trillions of things had to happen over the course of history for you to be here, but you're here and that's amazing. You made it this far through life and it's something to feel proud of. Does everyone else here do it? Yes, but they don't do it like you. Our struggles are all unique and that's what makes us all so amazing to learn more about.
I understand this is a wall of text that may not be read by anyone, or that someone else will be able to put it into more readable, quaint words. I understand that not many people here know me enough to care to read what I post. But this is all I can do to show that I care, to make you care for yourself in a way that nobody can take away from you. To me, that's the meaning of Valentine's Day.
You sir are amazing! You are actually one of the few people here that I really approve of :D NOW GIMME DAT THICC MEAT

As we approach Valentine's Day, make sure you take some time away from self-loathing or hating a fictitious idea that is widely believed and thus cultivated as a "holiday" to actually appreciate people in your life. You always should do it regardless, but Valentine's Day acts as a reminder that we need to care about the people who have chosen to be part of our lives. Whether you think yourself annoying to them or not, they still choose to be a part of your life and you should just let them know that you care.
So tell your friends you're grateful you have them, tell your parents if you're still in contact with them that you love them, and let people around you know how special they are to you. Who knows, you may actually make their day a million times better and make them do the same thing to others.
