MO seems to have a significantly sized European user base. As someone who wishes to make a trip, and eventual move to Europe in the not too distant future, but has not decided on an exact location, I thought this thread might be a good idea. And hopefully I won't be the only one it helps. So in the first hand experience of my friends across the sea, what places in Europe are a must see for travelers? Where would you recommend a prospective citizen plant his or her roots? Why do you recommend these places?

Germany (my home country) has allways been nice for me. I love Berlin Cologne as cities, but Brandenburg is also very beautiful.

If your a fan of a place with cold long snowy winters and intoverted people who take personal space very seriously, then Finland is the Place to visit ^^

If you want to experience amazing amounts of boredom then Coventry, England is without a doubt spectacular for that!
