What do you write about?

craftmind
Tell me what you write about, what style you might have, why you write. Although I don't share what I write I can say that I write in a journal twice a day. I write down what happened in the day and how i feel about it. Then I also write about ideas that have popped into my head, those tend to be separate on my computer. Lasty sometimes i try to turn those ideas into a fiction with the fiction being a symbolic representation. I'd love to hear from someone else!

Uh... I don't write stories so much as I build worlds where stories can be set in. Hence why a lot of my attention goes towards campaign settings for tabletop rpgs and forum RPs.

What I write about varies. I have a number of ideas so I prioritize whichever one happens to be at the forefront of my mind. As for my style, I mostly write in 3rd person. I'm the sort of person who gets ideas just from bits and pieces of dialogue and actions. I write because I want to create something only I can create. Anyone can make a character and a story, but I write to create something that a person will carry with them for the rest of their lives. Be it a lesson or a character readers can relate to on a personal level.

The thing that will spur me to write will usually be when watching/reading/playing something that has a bunch of good concept with cool ideas but explores them poorly. That being said. I don't think it turns out much better, but it definitely gets the gears grinding.
