Strange things that happened to you as kid.

Uh... My brother and I actually both realized we were mediums after watching a black dog phase through the basement window and dart to the north western corner, where it started to growl at us. Of course none of the adults saw anything, so... That generic encounter played out how you would expect. We saw it a few times, after that, among other strange reoccuring encounters with non-human entities, then soon as we hit 8, nothing... Until we actually started to re-sensitize ourselves to the supernatural in high school, then the weird shit started to spark up again, but less in the form of physical manifestations, and more in the realm of strange sensations, vibrational thought form entities fucking with us (Being all the members in my group, not just my brother and I.), and stuff infiltrating our dreams. Actually, this is the first time I shared that encounter with you guys. Of course as always, take this with a grain of salt, this is the internet.

i saw stuff that freaked me out like it was a dream, they are dumb. one was i was in a truck with people and i thought we were crashing then a olive comes through the roof. another was a house that looked like a silent hill bathroom. both felt so real.

My aunt was sleeping on her bed and when i looked over at her as i passed by the room i saw a lady that looked exactly like her just staring at her body and turn to look at me real quick. It happened in an instant. She was wearing like a super big shirt with like garfield on it. Was pretty strange, my sister also once saw a head drop out of the closet and roll over to her. Besides spooky stuff i was super hyper as a kid and liked to pretend i was a ninja so in one of the doorways leadimg into the room i used to try to climb it or like kick off of one wall onto the other. But one time i kicked off the wall a little too hard and it was gonna send me flying back first into the wall behind me. Somehow i like stopped in mid air and just dropped

I a lot of the times feel like someone's touch or dragging their hand across my back too, but it's just delusions involving physical sensation, heightened paranoia, and fear....just like in sleep paralysis...so, it ain't uncommon for you to have been startled by feeling physical sensations while in a dream, wake up in a panic, and be unable to discern whether someone touched you in reality and woke you up or if the dream suddenly woke you up with these sensations. I've woken up a few times as a kid after hearing monstrous screams/whispers and think someone was grabbing me while I was in a panic as my consciousness started waking up. Ufos, objects moving on their own, ghosts, or mediums....I ain't sure about all that, as a lot of that stuff can be twisted, mistaken, misinterpreted, fake, or straight up delusions, hallucinations, and psychosis....I believe what I see, experience, and can rationally deduce....what anomaly I DO believe in that scares and excites the ever living shit out of me, is déjà vu. Having a dream beforehand of an exact replication of events you're going to go through in the future, even with people, events, and places you don't recognize yet, but caught a glimpse of in said déjà vu....people typically say they feel like their "locked" into the event when they encounter déjà vu again later in reality, only recognizing it during and after déjà vu has occurred....I feel the same sensation when it happens to me too....and I didn't think much of this and was more of something I pushed into the back of my mind until I sat down in a Psych class and the question was brought up if any of the teens had ever experienced déjà vu before....and more than 90% of the class had a story to tell. One or two of the teens even said it happens to them so often and events so long, that they can recall entire conversations and events...but in the end, none were able to change the outcome. The reason it fucking scares me, is cause from our current understanding of the human consciousness, dreams, psychology, and physics, it's beyond comprehension how people can catch a short glimpse of events from the future. Made me think if our mind was playing tricks on us, like its only making us THINK that we've experienced these exact events before in a dream....but that was dismissed after remembering and hearing others retaining memory of such short events and describing them BEFORE they experience them in reality. So that means our current understanding of consciousness and physics are incredibly lacking. Time, after all, technically doesn't exist, and was made by people in order to measure, compare, and quantify change in events that occur....so it ain't too far-fetched to believe that in déjà vu, we're seeing the future through our own eyes in incredibly small portions.... I ain't gonna go on a whole physics or psychological discussion...but what I will say, is that if there is one constant in this entire universe, it's causality....cause and effect, action and reaction....the universe has laws, like conservation, classical mechanics, gravitation and relativity, thermodynamics, and so on....but, if we were to push aside time and acknowledge it as an illusion we made up to simply our understanding of everything....what if the entire universe is not only taking into account and recording every event that's going on in what we define as the present, but also knows what's going to happen in what we define in the future....EVERYTHING....every cause and effect from a deer who died alone in the woods whose body and decomposition feeds the Earth and other life, to how long a blackhole will last as well how many thousand of hundred of thousands of stars in the distance are consumed by it, to how a itty-bitty piece of iron that flung off of a meteorite ends up burning up and effects the atmosphere of a planet by an incredibly small amount, and how an individual with consciousness will act when confronting someone we don't know, someone we love, or someone we hate....since the universe has laws calculating and states what's what throughout all of space, with each event occurring due to one situation/object meeting another....how is our consciousness, emotions, and thoughts any different? If this were true, I think that this theory doesn't make what we feel futile or meaningless, but more than prove that we're all apart of the universe, and that as long as we have consciousness, we will have purpose. Cause, it's still incredibly mind-boggling to think such events in the future can be perceived through dreams, and shows that there's more to reality and time than we currently or may ever understand....and potentially that our consciousness can somehow not only receive such impossible information via dreams, but also be helpless to prevent the event from happening the same exact way of the déjà vu, regardless of how long it is. And THAT'S why déjà vu scares the shit out of me. Cause it's something scientifically impossible by our current understanding, yet relevant enough for psychologists to acknowledge and something I know a lot of other people accurately AND consistently experience personally, despite how crazy it is. I can't speak for ghosts and ufos, but déjà vu I can.

The strangest thing that ever happened to me actually was pretty mundane. It happened was when I went to a job interview. It totally felt like I had been there before. An extreme case of déjà vu. Turns out that was what EXACTLY had happened. I was there when I was 10 year old 9 years prior to my going to the interview and I had not been back since.

I got drunk at the library. Well, I was too young to know what drunk was at the time, but looking back yeah that's what I was. I was known for drinking other people's stuff so I don't imagine it was the result of anyone malicious. I just remember being outside and wanting to go inside to talk to my mother. Except my body just felt like it wanted to make turns even though my brain didn't tell it to so what should have taken minute took several. When I got to my mother I threw up and that was enogh for me to sober up. It's one of the reasons I'm not a drinker.

I used to think that people in pictures could see me. I'd always turn a magazine or something upside down so their eyes were looking away before I got dressed. Does that count?
