Yes, being a virgin is pretty universally considered a form of purity, whereas being loose is considered the opposite. I don't see why it's such a big deal that I therefore consider my belief system to be more pure. Also why does it even matter? You had every opportunity to choose to remain pure why do you find it insulting that your own choices have resulted in people being able to leverage that against you??????????? I don't need to believe myself to be more pure, my beliefs simply fit the definition of it. If you feel attacked by me casually stating some basic facts or applying an adjective to myself that doesn't apply to you then that's your problem dude. There's a difference between giving your take with an objective opinion, and what you did. I would say consider your audience when you speak more, but you seem to be fully aware of what you did, and how people would take it. If you really believe that's a benign opinion (as presented) I can only assume your purity is seriously tainted in areas other than your celibacy.
