so im going to a con next week and im wondering how to make friends there tbh i wanna get some local anime friends but idk how to approach people. how do you even make friends that fast lol i bet they just wanna walk around and such without being bothered idk i havent been to a con before what do i know

.....Initiating conversations with them...Online friends tend to meet up in real life at cons...

I've met up with people at cons, but never made friends with people at cons. Most people go with groups of friends and they tend to stick with each other. Also, blissful, who stands in line to buy tickets when you can just pre-order and bypass the lines? Getting in that is, the only place where I see lines for waiting is for panels with huge guests. But hey, there is a first time for everything...

Esoteric Iconoclast you still have to wait in line to get your preordered pass on day 0; the con he's going to doesn't mail out passes anymore (I know because I've been going to the same con for years). Another thing you can do Jared is if you see someone cosplaying a character you really like or you just see a really cool cosplay you be the one to approach and ask for pictures and stuff. The con also does a cosplay bingo thing where you take pictures of people cosplaying specific characters and then show those pictures to the staff at a specific booth and you can get a free pin for every bingo you get all the way until you get a blackout.
