Nothing wrong with it, legally anyways. The guys saying "No", I feel like they're somehow insecure about the past or itd be a jealousy kind of thing for them and I can understand that. I don't think I'd be ok with it if say, my wife wanted to do this currently. But, if she did in the past? I would not care in the least. Sure, you can make money, but there are tons of creeps and as you've said it'll be online in one way shape or form for ever. But, if you dont care about that, there's money to be made. The problem I would potentially warn you against it is. Maybe the chances are small, but what happens when someone creepy recognizes you in real life. You don't get to pick your viewers. Is that the kind of attention you really want if it does happen to follow you home? Because inevitably, someone you know will find it. Personally, I definitely wouldn't date someone who was doing it currently. I admit I'm old fashion, but I'd see it as her cheating on me with guys online. Like for the same reason I wouldn't date a pornstar, or a prostitute. I'm the jealous type. I would never want to share the woman I loved like that. It's not something to jump into if you're not okay with all the consequences. I think too many do it without ever really thinking about their future. @yaasshat: Nice assumptions. I just personally find camwhoring extremely distasteful, that your body isn't meant for the world to see, only for your significant other. This is an interesting topic! I personally don't see the issue with it whatsoever - it really is just one of those things where people can do whatever the hell they want as long as they're legal. I'm actually friends with a few girls who do this kind of stuff; camming, selling nudes and videos, etc (I will admit, I did buy stuff from them before - I wanted to see them succeed and to boost their confidence so I was happy to support them if I had the money to spare :D) so from my experience the vast majority of camgirls I've talked to are super nice - they're just like any other human girl, the only difference is they show their body be it for money or because they enjoy doing it or both. I don't see the problem in that whatsoever and I wholly support their decision, I really don't understand the stigma for it. Sure they might be considered "slutty", especially when they're doing it with one or more guys or girls on cam but as long as their partner is okay with it or they're single then that's fine, as long as nobody is getting hurt in the process.
