Do you enjoy disrespecting people in power?

Before you jump the gun I don't mean just being rude to complete strangers. I specifically mean talking back or talking down to someone who is in a position above you or in a position to harm you. Does it make you feel powerful to do so?

I would avoid direct confrontations with them. But if they want to harm me and I know they are going to harm me, I will figure out reasons why they want to harm me. If their reasons make no sense, I will talk back. I don't feel powerful to do so, I feel excited to do so lol. In East Asia, the vast majority of people respect people who are in a position above them in most cases. Confucianism, you know.

There is a sort of a thrill that comes from going against those at the top. Especially if they are mean to their subordinates, aha. It's like you are balancing the scales of justice.

Depends how they got that power and their actions after getting it. If they're a respectable person who uses the power appropriately then I see no reason disrespect them.
