Many people know that it is hard to work in Japan when they don't have weekends off or many days off as is hard work especially when it comes to office work.

You won't get used to their working culture.

I worked at a Japanese company for one brutal year. 11-13 hour days (5 days a week, plus a few important Saturdays), constant overtime, but no overtime pay, plus extra time outside of work to dedicate to your coworkers and preparing presentations at home.
The one thing I miss, though, is Golden Week and New Years' vacation. I came back to the U.S. and got a job that doesn't give me more than 5 days vacation total, and I work all holidays unless I use my vacation time. I honestly cannot tell you which job is more brutal to my internal battery...
