Net neutrality

Mostly I think we could work with it either way. I do feel that we're better off with the repeal, but I don't think it was going to be all doom and gloom without it. If there's anything I want people to consider, it's to reconsider "everybody I don't like is Hitler". At the very least, even if you take up that stance, at least try to think about what it's like if the person you don't like isn't Hitler. Consideration goes a long way into understanding. Even if you think someone is "pure evil", try to think about it from a perspective where they're not the literal incarnation of the devil, and just a regular person like you, and see what kind of conclusions you can make. And since if the repeal does take place you're going to have to live with the result anyways, it'll help resolve some of that built up negativity in your life. @Daggerfella I don't know why your write up was so much more effective than any other reasoned argument, but I'll probably use your sources and reasoning to speak to some others.

Considering my state's governor is the guy that wanted to make saying "global climate change" illegal (no, I'm not joking), I get the feeling Florida will never be on that list. Sadly, Florida is being run by a Florida man... I started reading that doc, realized it was written by Ajit Pai, or written by someone under Ajit Pai's supervision, and stopped. Ajit Pai is a lying, corporatist shill and I don't trust him as far as I can throw him. Net Neutrality isn't the only thing he's had his weasely hands on; he also pushed to kill Net privacy back in June and was trying to fudge the books to push a number of illegal megaconglomerate mergers through (including the nightmarish Sinclair buyout of Tribune). Hell, even a lot of what he did with the NN repeal was slimy and underhanded (and even a bit illegal). But then again, that much can be said about most of the people in our government at this point...

You won't even read something because the source is just a little too close that it might literally be Hitler? Ajit Pai is literally Hitler, and everyone who works in the FCC is literally Hitler because they work with him..... Is that really what's going through your mind right now? And everyone who thinks the repeal is a good idea is probably literally Hitler too, I imagine. So do you read anything that disagrees with you? Ever?

Dude, Ive read enough of the bullshit he's put out this year or hell, the last 6-7 years. The guy's a freaking liar and a supersized tool that will tell any lie to make money. Ive been hearing the same bullshit since 2010.
