Yes and no Yes: Honestly if you want to use this site as a dating site your best chance is to search through literally everyone on this site or be active/true in the forums as many people read them. Not all of these people participate but they do read all your stuff to get a feel of your personality... and I do mean all. No: Like everyone else says, this is more like high school or a social meetup. Most people come here to socialize and make friends.

I just joined yesterday but my impression is that this is more of a social network site for anime fans than it is a dating. There's always a possibility you meet an interesting person and connect as friends or maybe more but its really luck.

Yes it's a dating website, but you have to remember that a lot of people here are young and not date-able. I've only been a member for a month but I met a girl about 2 hours distance from me and took her out on a food date. It didn't work out after that because she has anger issues and I don't like that, but the fact remains that if you actually put in the effort to talk to people then you will have a little luck with dating. It's true that this website is mostly guys and lesbians, but you simply have to be outgoing and keep the attention of the people you'd like to date. Get phone numbers and call. Also, you will face a lot of rejection but never stop moving forward. That being said, Facebook is much better when it comes to dating because you meet people that you already know, went/go to school with, and people from your city. I would highly recommend using Facebook to meet potential dates. Good luck!

Yes. Its an dating site. But alot of people tend to forget that and treat this as just an otaku social site. Which kinda kills the dating part of it. But since Sephiroth isnt doing anything about it, there isnt much to do. But its really making it hard to find others seeking. People saying its not an dating site havent read properly what this site really is... Core is dating. The other things is side stuff.
