I think it's not so much putting women on a pedestal so much as falling for a fantasy in your head. On a confession note, My cat is going to save me about $1,000 on rent. How? Claim your pet as an emotional support animal and no place can legally deny you having them(In the US). Not to mention the first month's rent is free and the pet fee would be waived, where I'm going. Gotta talk to a doctor to get it done, but it's not hard.
