Thoughts on Fan Service

What is your opinion on Fan Service? Are you one who likes to be indulged or a bit more celibate? Or are you someone who believes it fan service is fine in moderation? Or are you like me, indifferent for the most part, but become slightly annoyed when it is excessive. If you like fan service what is anime you think does it properly? If you despise it, what is anime that you believe excels without it?

I like fan service, the one on Senran Kagura Estival Versus (the game) I like a lot. The anime did fan service too but wasn't as great in my opinion. I don't know it was just weird in the anime. The game was better. That's just me though.

I'm quite sick of it. Sometimes a show I otherwise was enjoying can get ruined by a sudden blatant moment of fanservice. If there's a sexually suggestive theme that has something to do with the plot, or is otherwise required for the story, then that makes sense. Shoehorning in ecchi is just cringeworthy to me.

I don't mind it as long as it doesn't interfere with the story I dislike it when there's an overabundance of it when it's not needed

It's needed! Because how else would I have my food porn in Food Wars! Plus some of it is actually realistic, you jump or trip in a skirt without leggings...panties get shown! You have big boobs and are pushed into someone's face. Then yeah they are going in someone's face.

It's meh:/ Sometimes it's hot,Majority of the times its unnecessary. I got it people like "Bodies so people can put it on them"(Yes that was a horrible reference v.v) but 90% of the time it adds nothing to the story.

i dont mind fan service if its done right. not the cliche walk in on girl changing, fall face first into girl's crotch, and the all amazing i get hit so hard my clothes tear. if its good fan service thats shown every now and then thats fine...i used to be an ecchi anime only guy, but got sick of the same thing over and over
