A clarification about spamming?

What is spamming exactly? According to my boyfriend it's sending 2 or 3 messages in a row. To me it's sending more than 5 messages in a row. According to his definition of spamming if I send more than his amount approved messages it's spamming, but if he does to me or if someone else does it it's not spamming. Can someone give me a clear definition on what spamming is?

If he thinks it's spamming, it's spammming to him. It's all just opinions.

It depends on the situation. If you are sending him messages for no reason at all just for noticing you it can be considered as spamming after like 3 messages I guess if it is something more important.. relationship, school etc it doesn´t have to be this way.

I know this might sound harsh but some people can claim its spam only because they don't want to talk to you as much as you want to talk to them. For some people they cant deal with constant messaging, others can.

It kind of depends on the context. If you send 3 or more long messages in a row (ones that are a sentence to a paragraph long) than it would be spam. However, 3 or less short messages (ones that are just a few words, a short sentence, or a phrase) might not be considered spam. Nevertheless, when texting or instant messaging someone, try to avoid any more than 2 messages in a row. You don't want the conversation to be one sided.

Spamming is doing the same thing over and over consecutively.

Honestly Princess Serenity that's not spamming that's just showing you care, to some people that's annoying but if he did find it annoying he's not the one for you.
