Fuck it gonna roll the dice, im putting texas on my list of places to PCS to. I have been avoiding it because that means i wont be able to go to japan like i wanted, plus the traffic is really gonna suck. But i feel like i just need to pull the trigger on it. Hopefully i can get it and hopefully it works out for me.

@hell_hound7 it may sound crazy but I recommend at least putting Alaska down. The summer months are really nice and there are tons of things to do and see.

@criselington isnt alaska super expensive though? I mean the housing might be affordable but food wise i heard that a gallon of milk can run you like $10

Alaska used to have a weird male-to-female ratio but it looks like it's improved over the years. It's still the state with the most men at 108 men to 100 women.

@hell_hound7 https://meric.mo.gov/data/cost-living-data-series Cost of living chart for the states. Alaska is bad, but at least it's not as bad as Hawaii. Texas isn't bad according to this chart, but my aunt who lived in Texas said they get you with property taxes.
