Are doughnuts sweet bagels, or are bagels salty doughnuts?

People probably die so much because they keep trying to play sekiro like a dark souls game, it's not. It's developed by From Software but you do not play it like a souls game, you gotta respect the systems or you'll get wrecked 24/7. It's also a very proactive type of game, which is why there's no stamina bar in the first place, you're meant to be unrelentless and keep up the pressure essentially until it's the enemy's "turn" (when they deflect your attack) which is when you continue being proactive and deflecting their counter attacks. The thing that helped me the most is to stop caring about reducing the enemy's health and care more about reducing their posture bar since that's how you really destroy literally every enemy in the game
So if you're the type of player who likes to be reactive in any type of game instead of proactively keeping up offense and taking risks, you're going to have a bad time in general in sekiro. :u
