do you know or have a theory on what determines the save point? maybe it's every 4 nights or something? and what is the white whale? im sure I missed that. and whenever Subaru tries to tell someone about his revivals, why can't he; are those purple hands supposed to be his fear or something else?

SPOILER ALERT!!!! Don't read this if you haven't been watching for awhile. ____________________________ Think of the white whale as a really old and powerful entity kind of like Puck. So far I'm not sure what determines his save points. You could be right, or it could simply be right after he effectively makes a major change in the timeline. You probably heard references to the witch, and how Subaru has the scent of her magic on him. My theory is that it's the witch that brought him to that world, it's the witch that isn't allowing him to tell people about it. It could also very well be the witch that sets the save points. So most likely the purple hands are the witches power. Think of it as the witch put a curse on him that doesn't allow him to talk about certain things. And when he does it activates the curse kills who ever he tells.

I know. Subaru isn't that bright. There's so many ways to manipulate and change things, if he just kept his cool and put alittle more thought into it. But I'm the type that over analyzes and over thinks everything. But then again, if it was too easy for him then we wouldn't have such a good show to watch.

It feels really awkward, the entire White Whale concept. There was a legend that the Whale would devour your existence if it killed you, but I also believe that legend mentioned a legendary knight that was devoured by the Whale. Well, if that knight was truly devoured, how would anyone know since he would not have existed in the first place? Maybe just a missed plot hole?

I actually finished the last two and caught up today. I now know of the white wale. also Wesley, your theory of the witch makes sense. I can't believe he rejected Rem like that. She's the one he should be with, not Emilia. >.< Sunbae- I had the same thought! Maybe they all just assumed he died from it but died by another cause. Or maybe it really is just a plothole
