Do you put in equal effort toward relationships?

Or does someone have to work harder/put in more effort to be in a relationship with you than you are willing to for them? Also what are some of the difficulties that come with being in a relationship with you?

I always give it my all. They don't have to put in a lot of work. My goal is making them happy so if they're happy like that then I'm happy. Difficulties dating me: I can be complicated at times I'll always put your happiness above mine I'm socially awkward I might not get a clue or hint I hide my emotions so I can tend to yours I can become clingy but not possessive If my family doesn't approve of you, IT'S OVER I'm not your stereotypical guy, LIKE AT ALL I have my own values the reflect the way I love and interact with you I'm sure there are more but I can't think of them at the time...

I put in more than enough effort to enter a relationship. The problem I have is I'd rather not waste my time on ungrateful people, and I tend to encounter people like this a lot. Also, the people I tend to like don't live close to me, and some aren't open to entering a long distance relationship.

I usually put a lot of effort to make people happy, if I choose to be in a relationship with them. I do need some time by myself though, so I'm not the type of person that wants to be around someone every day. Also I get moody sometimes so I am not always in a great mood lol
