Candy exists beyond Pocky!

Seriously, where is the love for Hello Panda, Hi-Chew, Kompeito (I think I slaughtered the spelling there, but they're the thingies that the soot-balls eat in Spirited Away, see, you know what I'm talking about) not to mention mochi, and of course, mochi ice-cream! Seriously! It drives me a little nuts that you only hear about pocky. It makes us otaku sound like we have taste-buds that only function for one sweet. So what's your favorite candy, confection, treat, or deserts? (desserts @_@) and it can't be pocky :3

They have those little spiky candies(that thingy you called Kompeito) in Mexico, too! ^_^ I remember eating those as a REALLY small baby when I still lived inside Mexico. They'd sell them in a few stores in California too, but I haven't seen them in over a decade(except for their debut as soot-ball food)! o.o

Ha. :) I'm mostly lured in by puppies at my tender age of seventeen. :) Given that at least one of my previously owned dogs are dead. :( I have a gaping weakness for cute baby animals. Proud Beast: I have no idea what you're talking about. But there are little candies called "Borrachitos" or something like that, and they're made with a bit of liquor. If you eat enough, you can get a bit buzzed,but you'd probably vomit because of all the sugar you're ingesting. :P My FAVORITE Mexican candies are the ones made of coconut, tamarindo, and dulce de leche. I would do ANYTHING for an Oblea (Dulce de leche wafer).

I really love mochi and green tea flavored candy, like green tea kit kat :D Unfortunately both are rare to come by where I live.

well my two favorites are Kasugai Lychee gummies and Meiji Hello Panda biscuits with Strawberry filling even the milk cream filling ones are delicious! honestly i could go on and on about great japanese sweets
