pokemon chow

Sooo this has been bugging me for a while butttt where do the ppl in Pokemon get their food do they eat their Pokemon x.x... and how do they label species of pokemon with real animal species when they dont have dogs or any other animals to speak of o,o.....

first, look at this picture ( http://livedoor.3.blogimg.jp/hatima/imgs/4/4/44427467.jpg ) there is a dog XD and im sure there was a food menu kind of grilled fish and beef steak meat in the ship, Saint Anne.so i think they have livestock like us only we cant see them in storys. but............ Kojiro said he ate Magikarps in the anime. and from the game,diamond or pearl,there is a biography written that ppl killed and ate pokemon in the past.....

Look at the signs (or at least, the ones that are translated) when Ash and company are in cities and towns. Most of them do have places to eat or get food from, even if they don't go there in the episodes. I'm sure offscreen, Brock or someone gets some food for those long trips through the woods. As for species, I could've sworn there's been some non-Pokemon, like maybe flocks of birds or even a cat or dog. It's been years since I've watched the anime way back in the days when it was actually good (late 90s, early 2000s).

it probz depends on whichs season XP i bet in the earlier eps they did but they probz worked out the kinks in the later ones XP (like what riacxel said about magikarps) another glitch is in the begining it showed baby pikachu but later it says there the evolved form of pichu XP and idk if they still do this cuz i dont watch the newer ones but that they evolve diff XP like it used to be from these stones but i think i saw in the later ones its diff

There have been a lot of indications that humans eat Pokemon, from things like Team Rocket cutting off Slowpoke tails and selling them as a 'delicacy'. To Pokedex entries that describe certain Pokemon as 'delicious'.
