I like to sing sometimes, some people like it some people don't. I like to sing Christina Aguilera's songs because my voice is kind of similar to her when I sing, yet it doesn't means everyone will like it. If you like to sing do so, no matter what.

I was in the music industry for a long time as a multi-instrumentalist and knew quite early on that I didn't have the voice to make it big as a singer (not that I ever wanted to), But you can still train it to sound pretty okay and work as a backup vocalist which is what I did sometimes. That said you can always just open up a bandcamp and release some lo-fi tracks as an indie artist (which I also did). Don't need to hit the high notes to make songs that hipsters will love and throw money at.

Having a decent singing voice would be cool. Doesn't stop me from singing and playing guitar though, or singing in the car.

I wish I had a better voice too. But then again, I have other talents singers do not. I suppose we just have to work with the cards we are dealt.
