The strange thing is that the animated DC movies and shows have been nothing short of amazing. The recent string of Superman and Batman animated movies, Justice League, Young Justice and other animated ventures are great. My problem is that there are a bunch of underutilized characters, like Lobo and Booster Gold. But the live action stuff and comics are total garbage for both Marvel and DC. Physical media is something I value far more than streaming or digital download. This basically puts all the power in a company's hand. If I buy something physical, it can't be taken from me unless by force or I willingly resell it. Digital download and streaming, you can be denied use of a movie or game or whatever at the company's whim.

Star Wars movies have a lot of hackneyed and contrived story elements and the movie scripts are so formulaic they seem to be produced at a factory
