Well I think it's been made clear that most guys want girlfriends and most girls want boyfriends here on MaiOtaku. But somehow with the large flurry of single people not finding someone straight away is mostly attributed to social awkwardness - basically the message I'm trying to deliver here is keep meeting and talking to women! MaiOtaku is the perfect place for that to meet some great, like-minded girls! Just don't force yourself and remember to be patient, otherwise you will end up coming off as desperate and from my experience when I was an eager teen, girls don't like that. I'm a lot like you, yeah I'm looking for a girlfriend although I've been single for two years rather than five but I'm not forcing anything. I'm putting a lot of my priorities first (college, work, dream job and all that other shite) and just let the girlfriend part come naturally once I get to know someone and things can finally click. That's how most of my relationships came to be. Just don't push yourself alright? And don't think to yourself that people are superior to you just because they have lovers, spouses, etc. You'll find yours just like I know I'll find mine so remember to keep that in mind; just take your time, speak to women and eventually you'll find someone and things will fall into place even if it's in the most gradual of manners.
