opininon clash here I guess. I really think it's possible to tell if you're asexual or not through easy means... ask yourself "do I ever think of sex?" "do I ever "joke" about if someone are hot?" etc. questions like these can determine if you are or not... well I think so anyway, this is subjectivly of course. ^^

I suppose that can be a good indicator.

I'm borderline asexual but not not full on, least I don't think so anyway.. hard to say really. I've got a very low sex drive and 3DPD stopped being sexually attractive a long time ago for me. Goes in hand with having a case of schizoid PD. The stuff I find appealing seems to be really hard to find in women these days, and all that's left are women I wouldn't touch with a ten foot poll, let alone a 12inch one. If I found that special girl things might be different, but as is that doesn't seem likely to happen.

Where's the fun in life if you can't hook up with anyone.

Huh... I don't joke about it or always ( Hey... It might be a few times an hour...buuut....that's not always. :P) think about sex. I understand the whole idea of being asexual, it serves no biological purpose aside from animals that reproduce that way, but I understand it. It's just a constant state of not desireing sex... How do you get turned on if you never want sex? That, I do not understand. It'd be like mentally raping yourself in order to convince yourself..... Just saying... These labels are a nnew fad though. I never heard anything beyound, straight, gay or bisexual back in the nineties, at least what people would admit to that is.

I don't see it as being fun to hook up with 'anyone', quite the opposite really. There's a lot of nasty people out there I don't want to have anything to do with.

Being gay doesn't serve any biological purpose either. And asexuality(orientation) has been around or a long time. Being gay and bisexual have been around, historically, for a long time too. There has been gay right communities in Europe since the 1800's. Edit: You can get turned on though masturbation or outside stimuli like porno in pictures or books.

Yeah I agree with neet about hooking up with people. But I don't think it has anything to do with sexuality but more with fear and it is hard for me to have any sort of intimacy with someone I do not know.

Lol amusing comments all around. So much to say on the topic. I did not know there is a confusion on the subject matter. "Sex" the driving force for most life....*sigh*
rinatanchu
@Six and if sex doesn't drive you, then you are broken, right? (Sarcasm)
