The Whine Thread

Life unfair? Depressed? Bored? Go all out and whine about anything no matter how serious or silly it is. Whine of all flavors are welcomed here.

Im pretty fcking bored right now. I am 7 hours into a 16 hour shift at work. Leaving the 9gag browsing until I have 5 hours left. Anyone got any fun things you can do to pass the time at work?

I'm a cleaner, so I text to keep myself occupied at work - so long as I work at the same time and no one sees...no harm.

Actually...I wasn't going to, but there are two things that have annoyed me: 1. People who add you then lurk on your friend list doing nothing, then re-add you when you delete them. Why do you want to be on my list if you're not going to say anything, ever?!?! 2. In the creative writing section someone just asked to speak to 'real writers' and cuts out fanfiction writers. A writer is anyone who writes anything at all - fictional or non-fictional, so yes, fanfiction writers are 'real writers'. Also I have read some real pieces of art in fanfiction; granted you need to sift through a lot of trash to find them, but there are some awesome fics; I once found a writer who is re-writing the whole of FMA from the POV of Mustang and Hawkeye where they were secretly married the whole time - it worked so well! And the writing quality was of a pretty high standard too. Another annoying thing is that some authors write worse than fanfiction writers - for instance Twilight. Readable, yes, but quality writing? Oh, Hell no!

Somewhat stuck in the middle of a control freak sociopaths game of depression and self harm. Also monthly speaker payments suck.
