You seem to have missed the entire point of what I was saying. Naturally, she can speak freely about it if she feels she would like to. My comments weren't directed at her.
Let's see if I can find a better way to phrase it...
It's counterproductive to continue to repeatedly bring up someone's past mistakes after they have already recognized them, accepted blame, and expressed a willingness to change.
To continue to push the point only serves to heap shame on a person; either that, or build up the ego of the one doing the shaming. It does more harm than good. It's not helpful to her, nor is it beneficial to us; save for creating an illusion of superiority.
I've already made it clear that cheating is unequivocably wrong in my eyes, but if someone recognizes their mistake and wants to move forward in a better direction, they deserve praise for it instead of continuing to be told over and over what they've done wrong. I didn't single you out for it, and I was talking to myself just as much as anyone else.
If that is somehow "disgusting" to you, then you are more than welcome to ignore what I have to say on the matter; as is she and anyone else who might take offense. I'll continue to say what I like, as I like, thank you very much.

Then where we disagree is that I feel support is much more than "well that sucks, time to move on". I don't think people are as simple as you put them. I don't think it's compassionate to ignore what someone came to talk about. She can offer her insight, and I can offer mine, as well as anyone else. Both of us can utilize that to learn to improve our own lives, but "just stop talking about it" doesn't help anyone. She gave a story where she didn't quite understand the other side, and that we might not understand her side. I think it's important to talk about such things so that we can all understand each other.

Does cheating make you a bad person? No, not really, unless you're a habitual cheater or someone that does it on purpose. But it erodes the trust people around you had in you. People do it, just like people do other bad things in life. But it doesn't make someone a monster.

Nope. I would never tolerate someone cheating on me, and in my mind there is never a justifiable excuse to cheat if you have a normal relationship. It's just plain wrong.
The only way I can understand cheating is if it's an abusive relationship you're in and you're afraid to break up with the other person due to a fear of violence in some way. In which case, seek help for the situation, but I can understand cheating then.
In all other cases, nah. If you desire more attention (within reason), use your mouth and speak up about it. If you're literally looking at someone else in THAT way, that's already cheating in my book. When you're with someone, eyes only for them, PERIOD. I don't settle for anything otherwise - If I am going to be faithful in love, I expect the same of my partner. Case closed.

Yea I couldn't deal with that. I check people out, and look at smut, my eyes may wander but my body doesn't. I pretty much expect the same from my partner.

I think I have never cheated before, but then I got cheated a lot by a single guy. It sucks big time, so I guess its a NO-NO. When I really really like a guy, I totally tell him anything and everything even the guys who wants to talk or be friends with me. But then the guy I like rn doesnt seem to see me that way lol

Smut is just fanfic right? It's not as if you're actually lusting over someone. You read it for the plot between those two characters and such. Looking at someone in a lustful way, though, proves you're not in love or faithful to be honest, so that's not something I can get behind.
