Is cheating acceptable?

Cheating on a test yeah its wrong, using cheat codes in game is meh but cheating on a person nah its not cool. What does one person have that the other doesnt? And if there really is something they have thats worth cheating for then why not go with them and not cheat?

If cheating is ok, that's called an open relationship and thus it's not cheating since your partner is ok with that. Nothing about cheating can be said to be ok. You're a liar and self-centered by cheating.

I think the real question here shouldn't be whether or not cheating is acceptable, but why people choose to cheat, rather than just ending the relationship. In my opinion, if the relationship isn't working then you should just end it, it's less painful that way, and leaves less emotional scars. I just don't understand why the hell people wish to cheat, you can try to hide it all you want, but eventually it'll come out. I understand that it's mostly done by the type of people that everyone in this Forum mentioned: People who crave attention, (or by people who can't keep their chocobo in its pen. Still, if the person in question doesn't like their partner, and wishes to be with someone else, then just end the damn relationship, officially, in person, to their face, and then move on to someone else! It's not acceptable. However if you are in a relationship that is not romantically and just have it set up to fool bigots, then yes you can cheat.
