I've been friend-zoned a lot, and though I'd love to have a girl by my side right now, I can also say that being on such friendly terms with a girl that you've basically become her brother... it ain't bad. I get to see/experience stuff that I wouldn't have otherwise. Also, girls love to cuddle with me for some reason.

You know, I think I've been not really listening to axel_ayumi all this time. Another gal on one of those big dating sites also cited the same problem. She called them "Almost-boyfriends". I assumed the dating site gal meant the horrible thing some girls do where they have a boyfriend for sex and dates then have a male companion to be the emotional support. No, an almost-boyfriend is the guy who enjoys the girl but basically treats her like a guy friend. She gets feelings because they click so well and he just feels like shes a close friend.
