do you take relationships seriously?

Every relationship you have and care about needs to be taken seriously. Of course, that doesn't mean being all political with your friend, but just making sure to treat same well and being a good friend or lover. I'll always stand my ground on this. Different kinds of love? Duh, of course there are. One for every couple, relationship, friendship... etc. Our relationships with people aren't all based on the same things and that includes your significant one as well.

The smart move is to take it as seriously as the gal does. This isn't altogether possible as it takes a little bit more courage and commitment to plan special dates, make time for them, etc.. The danger is the discord between what society tells us should be happening and what you're both comfortable with. The "Relationship" instead of what actually works for two people.

Yes, every single relationship I take seriously. They are all mine, I shall not rest as long as a single relationship exists outside my grasp. Whenever I see one, I seriously take it.

Not a comment on anyone else's post: The whole online vs. "IRL" dichotomy has to go. I notice some people don't take any kind of Internet based relationship seriously. My feelings can still be hurt. I can still help friends with real life problems. Shared interests and fun are just as visceral. A connection is a connection.
