I'd be happy to answer this one. That is merely the end of The Golden Age arc. It is only the beginning of the amazing epic that is Berserk. You have to realize this is a story that began back in 1989 and still continues until this day. The original anime was done when a mere fraction of the manga was complete. The new movies that have been done by Studio 4° C are fantastic but do little to expand on what we've seen so far. Perhaps one day we will see the Black Swordsman arc given the justice it deserves.
Dude I just watched this anime series and Movies. I was like, what the Hey, give a shot. I was hooked through out. Now I want more. This anime was frkn awesome. It needs the next round.
This is simply one of the best manga I have ever read. The characters, the story, the art...it's amazing. The only downside is how slowly it is being released. If you don't like to be left hanging for months (years) on end, definitely wait until it's finished (though that will be a long time coming). I would LOVE to see more of the manga animated. The Golden Age arc is just the very tip of a very big iceberg.
It's been a long time since I saw the movie and golden age arc stuff. From what I saw of griffiths transformation he seemed to know what he's doing. Even with the hallucinations whilst being tortured.
What I don't understand is how easily he got caught.
Griffith would've died if he fought back at that point. Dude may be a better fighter than most of the people in his army but he's no Gatzu. Gatzu can fight an army solo and walk away. Hell, he's done it twice in the anime. Griffith is much better at 1 vs 1 and tactical shit. You think it would've been wise for him to fight an clusterfuck of Military men with all their spears pointed at him while he has nothing on but a jacket? I don't even remember if he had his sword on him. He would have died right then and there, strung up for the masses to see.
