The Indonesian keris is one of the coolest daggers in history, no cap. They're traditionally made from meteorite and normal carbon steel to make damascus steel

I'm a big firearms enthusiast. I own around 30-40 different rifles and handguns lmao.

I'm fan of the world WW-1 through WW-2 firearms. They were so creative and inventive with the shapes. M79 is a pretty unique fella, that can be used virtually in any situation. https://modernfirearms.net/userfiles/images/grenade/gl06/m79-2.jpg It is so amazing that its still being in service. Nambu pistol, the gun that funny enough won Vietnam for the Japanese. https://d9nvuahg4xykp.cloudfront.net/7101642454056749990/-938728585366981084.jpg This one is a nightmare to handle at times, but it's a incredible underdog as far as pistols go. Mauser pistol, a powerful as heck German pistol. https://cdn.rockislandauction.com/dev_cdn/63/3375.jpg It was supposedly the top dog of all pistols, heavy as heck recoil though. Can also be hidden secretly in the buttstock of a gun. If I ever get one of these, I'll probably just admire them from afar. Never fire them myself.

@vinyl_retroflexed Mauser C96 without the stock is a miserable experience. The action is far too high above the grip and every time you fire it tries to flip upward in a nonsensical manner. It's ammunition has good penetration qualities, but was overshadowed by the impressive and much improved 7.62x25 Tokarev round. It's action is also overly complicated. Trying to strip the thing for a cleaning is something I did not enjoy doing. I found the C96 such an unpleasant experience that I sold it. It looks nice, that much I will admit, but I did not spend close to $1,000 for a fancy paperweight.

@vinyl_retroflexed Yeah your totally right about everything. C98 without the buttstock is a nightmare to say the very least, thing kicks like a eagle without the power of one. I understand your pain, in total honestly it's for my WI-WWII memorabilia. I feel as if you don't have one in your collection, it kinda feels wrong you know? The active replica is a mere 204$ with the buttstock included, so it is not gonna dent my wallet too hard. Gratz on getting the real deal though, is pretty flipping cool (though it hurted the wallet a bit on your side). + Mad respects for ya.
