So I just started this game for not long ago and I really like this game though I gotta admit, I didn't play much card games in Generally lol.. (^__^;)
Anyway I thought, it could be cool to have some discussion about everything on this game like:
- What do you think of this game?
- What is your favorite class? and why?
- The class weakness and strength
- What deck are you using?
- Your class tier and why they belong to that tier.
- Add and challenge each other.
If there is more you think that could be added to this list, you are welcome to tell me here.
For now I think this game is pretty fun but again I have only played this game for three days.
My favorite class at the moment is mage(Of course I love magic characters and my name is Blackmage! Silly reason? ye I know but I don't care! xD ). Even though I love the mage class, I still try the others to broaden my knowledge about the enemies card.
About my deck, i'm not sure yet still trying to build one. For you guys who want a friendly match just add me Kurostar#2618.

Hearthstone is severely lacking for me in terms of a strategy card game, I mean sure it is visually appealing...I guess I'll always be a MtG fan at heart haha, especially since they have MtG online so you can play against anyone at anytime.

@Karasu that is cool with the opinion, I mean Hearthstone is more for a new card gamer, like myself and it might also be what blizzard is aiming for, who knows? It seems like MtG is more complicated game compared to Hearthstone and thus you might find hearthstone lacking in strategy in comparision. x) It is still a beta and there is room for improvement in that game and I hope they will improve the balance between classes.

It definitely has room to grow and the target audience is probably more or less towards people who don't already play MtG or Yugioh (I don't like Yugioh though...rather odd play style if you ask me) I personally don't really find MtG as complex as most people make it out to be. It probably just seems daunting with the amount of different play styles in the game, the rules are pretty simple, even simpler than Yugioh imo. Comparing the three I'd say that MtG is on a high difficulty level (to win), a lot of the fun comes from customizing your own deck and building new decks to take on different strategies; while Yugioh is more or less a medium difficulty while still retaining some fun with customizing decks. Hearthstone is rather easy to pick up on but it doesn't leave much room for customization which is part of what I find lacking, and I'll get this out of the way right now: from what I've seen and played around with in the game almost everything can be done in MtG...even the hero concept was done in MtG before Hearthstone came around, almost seems like the cards and battle mechanics were ripped straight off of MtG but they just did away with half of the game. But yeah all in all I'd say it's more for people who just want to pick up a card game and play around for a bit, they certainly made it look nice enough to draw in players. It would be nice to see the game develop it's own unique style though, right now it's like a little brother to MtG, hopefully it won't turn out to be another Dota 2 vs. LoL type of thing...

lol like I said before I even saw this post mage xD it's MtG: WoW edition, with 10 Mana limit.
But actually Karasu, Yugioh is actually very complicated once you get down to the details like the 4 substeps to the battle phase, spell speeds, effect chaining, types of effects: quick/ignition/continuous/trigger/flip (and its subcategory of pseudo-flip) oh and the list goes on, I mean you have to take a test just to become a qualified judge lol, but this is about Hearthstone.
My favorite Hero is Rogue because her Basic Cards are pretty OP and has more versatility as oppose to Hunter which is some people's preferred choice with his Basic cards being able to destroy or just deal more damage to minions. But anyways, in my opinion if you build a deck right then it has no weakness because they all have their niche. But if anything Rogue's hero downside is that when you attack with her against a minion your going to lose that health, but sometimes its worth it being a little reckless, can't let the opponent keep even a 1/1 minion on board no matter what.
I'm still fairly new and lost a ton of games due to opponent drawing into some lucky BS boss monster late game and all I had was a bunch of 2/1 or 1/1 minions and then after I get rid of it he draws into another 7/5+ minion and i'm sitting there with another 1/1 =w=
I haven't played any ranked games, and my deck consist of (as far as theme wise go):
1. swarming the field and then boosting minions/pets with things like Raid Leader or Stormwind Champion
2. Minions with Divine Shield/Taunt + minion boosters/healers
3. Minions that deals damage on being played/Divine Shield/Taunt very aggro and keeps opponent's minions off the field
My username thing is ExHeroKid#1455, but I haven't played in while cause of Con + trying to finish events in FF14

@Karasu I see, I haven't played MtG or Yugioh, so not much opinion from me but I might wanna try them in the future to compare them. If you say its true that its almost ripped off from MtG, I can only say that I hope it develope its own unique style and hopefully not another Dota 2 vs LoL.
@The_Geeky_Panda give the game a try!
@ExHeroKid I see, same opinion as Karasu, except maybe the Yugioh part. :P
I see your favorite is the rogue, I already played against rogue and hunter in rank and its them I find the most pain in the ass opponent in early game because of their crazy early game.. D: And Paladin just pure annoying mid and late game. I tried rogue but still no idea how to build the deck efficiently yet.. Still gotta practice and test more deck out. Lately I love playing the Mage and Priest.
I think Mage biggest strength is to disable people's BS boss monster card. I really love when someone think he wins a game because of them and then I just sheep them muhaha! Those sheep cards always saved the day. xD I am really amazing to see many people with those insane hax cards.. T___T
I gotta add you later then, so we can have a game! :P
@Karasu and ExHeroKid its fun to see your guys comparison since Karasu more to MtG and ExHeroKid to Yugioh. Anyway I hope more people will show up and tell us their opinion of the game so far.

I've never been into console /pc games...the only game I used to enjoy was Mario Bros, when I was 12 ^_^ ... I have several friends who tried talking me into play hearthstone. Never gave them the satisfaction of downloading it...one random night...I downloaded the game ...ever since ive been hooked on it. I have a desk job, so its hard not to play even while at work. -__-... overall, its a fun card game to play. Even though I still suck, I enjoy learning about the game and building that perfect deck. Hearthstone is a game I would recommend ..... check it out ;)
