What Do You Look For?

I've had really crappy luck in the relationship department, so I'm curious-what do you look for in a guy or girl? Physical appearance and/or personality wise.

Personally Both. Ive met some really nice girls that end up just being friends because i have no physical attraction to them. and some hot girls that just dont get me so they become boring... I need a good mix of the two, someone who cares what they look like and is open minded, creative, and has a good sense of humor.

HMMM..I also look for someone who I have chemistry both physically and in personally and it would have to be the same for him with me. Also someone who will accept me as I am ( cause im a big girl T.T ) and is willing to work things threw if things get rough and not just be like ' No Drama Llama I'm dumping you. ' LOL. I've seen alot of girls and guys who do this and it confuses me.. I also look for someone who is responsible, loyal and dependable. And loves Anime, Japan, And Games..And Hentai :V LOL. But most of all I'll let fate drive me to this someone..I don't like to just jump in and desperately look for someone like crazy.. I do prefer for the pieces to fall in place naturally. No matter how long I have to wait, Love comes when it comes.

Both.. I haven't had any luck either... some say I'm picky but honestly I'm not.. I just look for morals.. for gawd sake even serial killers have morals unlike the jerks that have been asking me out.. Hell at this point I'd try dating Charles Lee Ray XD I do make some killer spaghetti and meatballs ha ha

Personality are by far the most important one imo. My male friends have always told me I had very low standards, but from my point of view its the other way around, of the women I have seen my friends date most were annoying, dumb, self centered, ignorant or bitchy. Yes some of them were awfully pretty, but a nice car with no seat or engine is pretty much useless. Though you cant deny physical attraction is important you gotta remeber beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I've dated a bugeyed fish girl, a very fat girl, a bald girl with huge post-op scars, a burn victim and a scar covered sweety that was in a car crash. Out of all of the girls I've been with that would normally be considered beautiful there are only 3 that werent intolerable bitches. Looks are great for a one night stand after a concert has taken away your hearing so you dont have to listen to the BS they spout, but for anything re-occuring Personality is Alpha and Omega.

You know, I'm look for a girl that honestly likes me for me. I'd prefer they like what I like but if not that's fine, usually in everything we do, compromise has to come somewhere.

I think on some level, everyone is very superficial on what they "want" in a person. Call looking for personality all you want, but there is always a certain aesthetic we all look for when selecting a partner. In my case, I'm not choosy or fussy when it comes to physical appearance, but one thing that will always catch my eye is red hair. I don't know why but it does. Personality does certainly factor into my selection of a potential friend (I'm not going to say girlfriend, mainly because I've yet to meet someone who's really stuck with me). I tend to gravitate towards more modest people, a very fiery persona is cool for a time, but eventually I just get worn out by it. Too shy, and I end up getting put off by how introverted the person is (I have to admit, I'm guilty of being too shy sometimes). And don't get me started on "tsundere"...let me just say, I now have to adjust my jaw every morning. Of course, trust is one of the more fundamental parts for me, though everyone has to have trust in order to invest their time, energy and emotions to them right? I don't know, it's all very subjective. And me personally; I couldn't actually care less if I ever find someone, but if I do then I count myself lucky. Even then, I would fully expect my partner to stab me in the back (it's happened to me before) and I am already fully prepared for the relationship to fail. Cynical? Maybe, but then again I do go by the mantra "You'll be much happier if you're miserable all the time".

I'm demisexual, thus, I could really care less about one's look. The only thing I LOVE and will fall for every damn time is.. blue eyes. Icy, dark, deep, as long as it's blue. :3 Other than that, I mostly need to feel attracted to one's personality in order to fall in love with them. I will ALWAYS expect the guy/girl to back stab me since it happened more than it should have, so the relationship must be absolutely lies-free. >< Someone patient, kind of lovey-dovey, trust-worty and quiet would be quite perfect to me. He/she needs to be comfortable with staying inside and alone (with me, of course) most of the time, since I don't want them to get mad at me for something I have no control on. >< I'd prefer someone I can watch animes and play games with, but as long as he/she loves me truly, I could really care less about their hobbies. -w-
